Containing the earliest permanent American settlements in Oregon the Willamette Valley is tucked between two lovely mountain ranges this region is home to the Nationally acclaimed University of Oregon in Eugene as well as the States Capitol city, Salem. Superb Wineries, Covered Bridges, Historical Landmarks, Museums, and Public Gardens can all be found here. However, for the most part this region remains untouched, making it a great place for scenic driving, hiking, camping and bicycle tours.

The State Capitol located in Salem, and is the county seat of Marion County. It lies in the center of the fertile Willamette Valley. There is an abundance of wildlife and natural beauty here.
