Tumalo Falls & State Park
Nestled in the heart of sunny central Oregon, Tumalo rests along Oregon's spectacular Deschutes River, home of the Tumalo Falls.

Tumalo Falls is 97 feet high and there is a great viewpoint from the parking area which is easy to reach. A short hike up the trail will bring you to a superb overlook at the top of the waterfall. Elevation: 4950 ft.

Further above up is Middle Tumalo Falls which consists of a lower and upper tier. There is an Upper Tumalo Falls (aka Far Tumalo Falls).

A short hike
from the parking area up the North Fork Trail along Tumalo Creek will bring you to a series of 3 cascades, totaling about 60 ft. in height. The lower 2 tiers are together and easily visible from a viewpoint along the trail. These 2 lower tiers are also referred to as Double Falls. The upper tier is just around the corner. Continue up the trail a short distance to another viewpoint.
